This is important work to ensure government is run effectively and efficiently and that the community has a strong voice in City decision making.

Per the New Haven City Charter, applicants MUST be current New Haven residents. There may be some exceptions to this rule only in certain instances provided for by ordinance or state statute and are specific to the Board, Commission, or Authority named in such ordinance or statute.
